We believe that man, originally created in holiness and innocence, voluntarily transgressed God's command and became a sinner alienated from God. This first man brought upon himself and all mankind after him just condemnation and that he is now, by virtue of his fallen nature, utterly void of holiness, positively inclined to evil and condemned to eternal ruin without defense or excuse.
We believe the fallen lost sinner is guilty and already under the condemnation of God and is by nature alienated from God. However, the lost sinner can find divine forgiveness and atonement for their sin through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross and by His once and for all sacrifice on the cross of Calvary He became man's substitute facing the wrath of God in our stead. It is only by His shed blood He was able to atone for the sins of many and become the Savior of those whom trust in Him.
We believe that repentance and faith are solemn and inseparable graces wrought in the heart of the humble sinner by the quickening of the Holy Spirit. By this enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, the sinner can see the way of salvation through Christ and comes to God expressing their sorrow for sin and their new found faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that salvation is of the grace of God that encompasses the foreknowledge, foreordination and predestination of God. This salvation, without the corrupt works of man, saves even to the uttermost all who repent toward God and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and that this salvation is "the free gift of God".
We believe that in order for a sinner to be saved they must born again, regenerated by the Spirit of God, which comes instantaneously at the quickening of the Holy Sprit. This regeneration drives the sinner to repent of their sins, believe with all their soul Jesus died to cleanse them from all their sin and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We believe this salvation of the grace of God is everlasting. Though the born again sinner may walk through the valley of the shadow of death need not to fear evil. Those who are begotten of the Holy Spirit of God are kept by the power of God and shall not be brought unto condemnation. There is no one who can lay anything to the charge of God's elect because they are securely and eternally held in both the hand of the Father and the Son.
We believe not only is a born again sinner justified from their sins before God they are also sanctified from this world. The sinner is separated unto God and dedicated to His righteous purpose. Upon regeneration the sinner will begin a journey of progressive sanctification whereby the application of the Word of God will continually cause the sinner to become more Christ like.
